Impressive! Our students in K-5 are utilizing a structured system to learn to read. Look at these first graders in Mrs. Kasler's class learning phonemes and blending them together rapidly to read books like Max the Cat! Their joy and excitement about reading are contagious!
What a wonderful two days of learning, laughter, and investing in people as we spent two days with THE Sonya Kunkel, an expert in co-teaching and special education! We appreciate the practical strategies and ideas to support all learners!

Late night at the Dale but the Lady Rocket Volleyball teams brought lots of excitement to the gym. Excellent matches by both the JV and Varsity girls against Cardington.
JV defeated Cardington in 3 sets and the Varsity came up a little short in an exciting 5 set match!! Way to bring it ladies!! Fun to watch!! ❤️🏐💙

XC @ Harding/Elgin - Elliot Weston took 1st in the JH race and Brogan Weston took 2nd and Isaac Lust took 4th in the HS boys race. Hannah Staton took 5th in the HS girls race.

As we continue to focus on safety, I cannot thank you enough for your patience with the change in drop off/pick up. This move to the front of the building allows us to have a clear view of traffic without obstruction from buildings and cars. With that being said, you may feel like it is taking a little longer the past two days, and that is because it is. On Friday, we welcomed half of our kindergarten students. Today, we welcomed the other half along with our preschoolers. Tomorrow, we will have all of our kindergarteners and preschool students. With all of our students here on a regular basis, we will be able to make any last adjustments needed. We are still getting students being picked up out before the buses leave just like we did last year!
To help expedite this process, please be sure to create two lanes in front of each building starting at the far end of each building. Make sure to create tight lines so that we can get as many cars into the driveway as possible. In addition, do not pass vehicles waiting and drive 20 mph or less in the school zone! Finally, please practice patience. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. Change can be difficult, but their safety is worth it!
