Good morning!! Due to lack of officials the home JV Football game is postponed for tomorrow, 9/23. A reschedule date is to be determined.
Also, the JV FB game on Oct. 2 is cancelled vs. Ridgemont due to their injuries and lack of numbers. This game will not be rescheduled.

A great day for Rocket Volleyball! The varsity team had a 3 Match sweep in the Ridgedale Quad Invite, defeating Mt. Gilead, Elgin and East Knox.
Ridgedale JH Volleyball defeated Lima Perry in 2 sets on Saturday morning.

NEW SCHOOL RECORD!!! for Elliot Weston running 11:19 and taking 1st place out 120 runners in the MS boys race.
Brogan Weston placed 9th out of 240 runners with a new PR of 16:46 in the HS boys race.
Isaac Lust and Breyton Richmond also had new season best races.

It was amazing to see teachers using their co-teaching learning with Sonya Kunkel as they implemented the flip flop switch model! Students were engaged in the learning!

Picture Day is Tuesday, September 26th for all grades 6 - 12 students. Picture packets were distributed today in Enrichment, so students should be bringing them home. For ordering, just follow the instructions on the packet. If more packets are needed, Mr. Greenwood has extras in his room. There will be extras in the office as well. Seniors attending Ridgedale should also get their picture taken on the 26th for the purpose of getting a school ID, but they can certainly order pictures as well. Senior composite pictures (for the entryway to the school - where they may dress up a little more than a typical school picture) will be on December 7th.
Beautiful day for golf! The Ridgedale Golf Invite was a success thanks to the staff at Kings Mill Golf Club. Thank you to the teams who came to participate and congratulations to the Marion Harding golf team for winning the championship and the Ridgemont golf team for being Runners-Up. Our own Rocket golfer Caleb Anderson golfed in the invite as well. Great job, Caleb!
Junior High Fundraiser Kicks Off!
The kids had a great time with Tall Tim in kicking off our Club's Choice fundraiser for this year featuring many different items along with the popular Otis Spunkmeyer cookie dough. Ask your kids about the jelly beans in today's presentation! Anyway, last year, we managed to exceed our goal of $10,000 sold, which meant the kids had a fun afternoon with bounce houses in the gymnasium in May. Please help us as we attempt to meet the goal again this year with the same reward for the students at the end. The sale concludes Wednesday, September 27th. Delivery dates and other instructional items will be in your student's packet that they should bring home. The profits made go to help support the students and staff here at Ridgedale. Thank you, in advance, for your support in meeting our goal!
