RES was fortunate to welcome author and illustrator, T.L. McBeth today! He shared his process for creating and writing, read his newest book "I Am Not Santa Claus," and led students through drawing activities. Each student in the building also received a signed copy of his book! Don't forget about literacy tonight, 4:30-6:00 PM. The Junior Class will be taking the ACT at school on Tuesday, February 25th beginning at 8:00AM. Please make sure that your Junior is on time for school, gets a good night's sleep, and eats breakfast for this test. All students taking the test need to bring 3 #2 wooden pencils (No mechanical pencils). If you would like to opt your Junior out of ACT testing or if you have questions, please contact Ms. Yaksic or Mrs. Murphy at 740-382-6065.

The Lady Rocket Bowlers defeated Harding in their match at Cooper Lanes. Sofia Daugherty had high game and Maddie Webb finished with high series. The Rocket Boys came up short on pins but had a great effort! Great job Rocket Bowlers!!

Rocket Basketball is in full swing this week! Tonight the Rocket HS girls dropped a close game to Shekinah Christian. The JH boys and girls teams all played with the 7th grade boys and girls and 8th grade girls all victorious over Perry and the 8th grade boys dropping a close game in overtime to Perry. The Rocket HS boys will open their season on Wednesday at 6pm vs. Mt. Gilead!
