Good Afternoon, Rocket Families!🚀
This is Erika Bower, Superintendent of Ridgedale Local Schools. Our mission is to empower students to reach their full potential through our cornerstones of learning, safety, community partnerships, and fiscal responsibility. 🎯Our goal is to ensure our mission is put into action every day. One way we do this is by providing students with hands-on, real-world learning experiences through our Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways. We’ve already shared information about our Agriculture, Education, Nursing, and Engineering pathways, and now we’re excited to highlight our Interactive Media (IM) and Information Technology (IT) pathways.
Both IM and IT pathways can be completed right here on our campus through online coursework. In the Information Technology pathway, students gain the technical and academic skills needed to implement computer systems, provide technical support, and manage information systems. In the Interactive Media pathway, students learn to design, create, and produce interactive media products and services. These pathways prepare students to enter the workforce directly or continue their education through post-secondary opportunities. We also encourage students to explore multiple CTE pathways to build a broad set of skills that will serve them well in any future they choose.
📅Plan ahead…the end of the first quarter is just around the corner on Wednesday, October 15, but you can check your child’s grades at any time by logging on to PowerSchool. Please contact your child’s building office if you need assistance with login information. Please note that conferences are on Thursday, October 16 from 11am-7pm so there is no school for students. There is no school on Friday, October 17 due to Central Ohio Teachers’ Association Day. Conferences will also take place in the evening on Wednesday, October 22.

🏐🏈🏫On Monday, high school volleyball is at home against Triad, jr. high football is at Riverside, jr. high volleyball is at Elgin for tournament play, and the elementary PTO has a meeting.
🏈💪💖On Tuesday, the Powder Puff game takes place.
🚌🏐🏈On Thursday, 3rd-5th grade students are attending a field trip, high school volleyball is at Waynesfield Goshen, and jr. high football is at home against Cory Rawson.
🎃🏈On Friday, 3rd and 4th grade students get to participate in the FFA Fall Fest, and high school football plays at Cory Rawson.
🏃♀️🏐On Saturday, jr. high and high school cross country teams compete in the NWCC meet at Waynesfield Goshen, and high school volleyball plays at home against Riverdale.
🎶🎺🎤The fall choir and band concert is scheduled for Sunday.
