This is Erika Bower, Superintendent of Ridgedale Local Schools, where we are committed to empowering students to reach their full potential through our core values of learning, safety, community partnerships, and fiscal responsibility.
🎉It was a fantastic first week! We enjoyed seeing all of our students returning to us! You may have even noticed elementary staff out front literally dancing with joy on the first day! We are excited for what this school year holds!🥳
📢Thank you for your patience as we continue to transition to this new communication system called ParentSquare. You will find that ParentSquare provides everyone with a lot of flexibility. This weekly Rocket Radar will be posted on ParentSquare. You will also be sent a text to remind you to check email, the ParentSquare app, the Newsfeed on our website, or social media for this update. If the text does not go through, then you will receive a call. This will allow you to look through the information at the time that works best for you! As a matter of fact, you can customize for communication to come immediately or in a daily digest format. Keep in mind that certain calls will be pushed directly through texts and phone calls as soon as they are created. This is important for instances like we had on Friday where there was a delay.
✅We have many events this week. You can find our events on the district Google calendar which can be found on our website and on your ParentSquare app.
⛳ 🏐On Monday, high school golf is at Ridgemont and jr. high volleyball plays at home. Our elementary PTO fall mum sale kicks off as well.
🏃♀️On Tuesday, jr. high and high school cross country compete at Harding.
🏐On Wednesday, jr. high volleyball is at Grant.
🏐🏈On Thursday, high school volleyball is at home, and jr. high football is at Elgin.
⛳🏈On Friday, jr. high golf and high school golf are at home, and high school football is at home against Elgin.
🏃♀️🏐🏈On Saturday, jr. high and high school cross country compete at the Bucyrus Invite, jr. high volleyball plays River Valley at home, high school volleyball is at Buckeye Central, and JV football is at Elgin.
📌Start planning ahead…there is no school on Monday, September 1, in honor of Labor Day.
