This is Erika Bower, Superintendent of Ridgedale Local Schools, where we are committed to empowering students to reach their full potential through our core values of learning, safety, community partnerships, and fiscal responsibility.

We have many events this week. If you are unsure about events, please go to our website and check the Google calendar.
✏️📚On Monday, we will host our open house from 4-6pm. Not only can you meet your child’s teachers, but we have stations set up to help you with transportation, food services, scheduling, and community partnerships! What’s even more exciting? Attend and fill out your paperwork to receive a Rocket Country yard sign to show your Ridgedale Pride (one per family). We also have a regular Board of Education meeting starting at 5:30pm. Cross country is at Northmor, and high school volleyball is at Cardington.
💙🤍❤️On Tuesday, students in grades 1-12 start. Kindergarten is on a stagger start. All kindergarteners have an intro day on Tuesday from 9am-2pm. On Wednesday and Thursday, kindergarteners attend by appointment for the beginning of the year KRA testing. On Friday, students with last names A-M will attend all day. On Monday, 8/25, students with last names N-Z will attend all day, and all kindergarten students attend on Tuesday, 8/26. Preschool starts on Monday, 8/25.
🚀🏃♀️⛳ 🏐 🏈HS golf competes at Three Sticks Golf Course, high volleyball is at home, and jr. high volleyball is at Elgin on Tuesday. On Thursday, jr. high football plays at home. On Friday, jr. high golf is at Miamisburg, and high school football is at home. On Saturday, the band performs at Harmony of the Bands, jr. high and high school cross country is at Seneca East, high school volleyball plays in a tri-match at Pleasant, and jr. high volleyball is at Riverdale.
🚧The fencing project around the remainder of the playground as well as between the elementary and playground will be started soon. This project is made possible through a safety grant.
