Good afternoon, Rocket families!
This is Erika Bower, Superintendent of Ridgedale Local Schools, where our mission is to empower students to reach their full potential while focusing on learning, safety, partnerships with our community, and fiscal responsibility.
Our winter break has officially arrived! Remember there is no school from Wednesday, December 20 through Tuesday, January 2. We will welcome our students back on Wednesday, January 3! With the break, I will not be sending out our next one call until Sunday, December 31 at 1:30pm.
We have plenty of events coming up that you won’t want to miss! Tonight, high school boys’ basketball plays at McComb. On Wednesday, jr. high boys’ basketball plays at Vanlue, jr. high girls’ basketball plays at home against Vanlue, and freshmen boys’ basketball plays at home against North Union. High school girls’ basketball plays at Wynford on Thursday. On Friday, the high school boys’ basketball plays at North Baltimore. Jr. high wrestling will compete at River Valley on Saturday. The following week, we have the bowling NWCC tournament, and high school boys’ basketball at Triad on Wednesday. On Thursday, bowling will compete at the Kenton Holiday Tournament, and freshmen boys’ basketball will play at Perry.
Please keep in mind that the end of the second quarter is Friday, January 12.
