Weekly Update

Good afternoon, Rocket families!

This is Erika Bower, Superintendent of Ridgedale Local Schools, where our mission is to empower students to reach their full potential while focusing on learning, safety, partnerships with our community, and fiscal responsibility.

Parent/family-teacher conferences are tomorrow, Monday, October 2, from 11am-7pm, so there will be no school for students on this day. There will also be conferences on Wednesday, October 4, from 4-6:30pm. The elementary is hosting a book fair during this week as well.

The end of the nine weeks is coming up quickly on Thursday, October 19. Remember, you can check your child’s grades at any time on PowerSchool. Mark your calendars for Friday, October 20. There is no school on this day as it is COTA day.

This year, we are moving Boo at the Barn back to the school, so we will be celebrating a Scare at the School and Boo at the Dale event on Wednesday, October 25, from 5-6:30pm. This promises to be a fun-filled night! Look for more information to come!

Along with conferences this week, we have junior high volleyball and jv/varsity volleyball both at home tomorrow. The jv football game that was scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled. On Tuesday, junior high volleyball is at Temple Christian, and cross country is at the Crestline Invite. Junior high volleyball plays at home on Wednesday. JV and varsity volleyball will play at Waynesfield Goshen on Thursday while the junior high football plays at home. On Friday, varsity football travels to Cory Rawson. Varsity volleyball plays in a tournament at Ridgemont on Saturday, and cross country competes at the Harding Invite.
