Visit the Ridgedale Local Schools website at ridgedaleschools.org click on Parent Links > Final Forms > New Student. If you do not have access to internet, you may visit the Ridgedale administration office. You are required to bring the following documents to the administration office in order to enroll a student:

Outside of the Ridgedale Local School District…

If you are planning to enroll with Ridgedale Local Schools and live outside of the district, you MUST first apply and be accepted through the open enrollment process. All open enrollment applications must be filled out online. If you have questions regarding open enrollment, please call 740-382-6065. Once you are approved for open enrollment, you may start the enrollment process shown above.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING INTER-DISTRICT OPEN ENROLLMENT APPLICATION

 Inter-district Open Enrollment Applications must be completed annually. Those students already approved through existing open enrollment applications will be given priority over new applicants. Applications submitted after the deadline will be considered on a case-by-case basis. It is important that you follow the process stated below.

Forms must have been completed on or before June 1, 2025.  

Parents/guardians will be notified of open enrollment status before the 2025-26 school year starts. 

There are various open enrollment bus stops. If your child is accepted as an open enrollment student, you will be contacted by our transportation department as to which bus stop your child will be using.
