Rocket Radar 8-23-26
And, We’re Off! 🚀
We had a great first week of school! It has been wonderful to see our Rockets back on campus and settling into a new school year.
This year, we continue to focus on our mission to Empower Students to Reach Their Full Potential while keeping our four cornerstones at the forefront of everything we do: Learning, Safety, Community Partnerships, and Fiscal Responsibility.
Thank you for your patience throughout the week as we worked through drop-off and pick-up. We know this is an exciting time for families as they bring their children to school and pick them up each day. We also know that these routines can take a little extra time at the beginning of the school year.
Please remember that the 20 mph speed limit in the school zone is in effect whenever students can be seen on our campus. Vehicles should not pass other vehicles while families are waiting in the pick-up areas out front. With preschool beginning tomorrow and our kindergarten students transitioning to full-time attendance on Tuesday, pick-up may take a little longer.
Please stay patient and allow yourself a few extra minutes. Our goal is to make sure all of our students, staff, and families arrive and leave safely.
🚀 Reminders
As we kick off the new year, here are a few important reminders:
Check FinalForms to make sure all student information is current and complete. Forms should be completed by both parents/guardians and students as applicable.
Remind your child to start their morning with a healthy, free breakfast!
Please complete the free and reduced-price meal application, which can be found on our website. Families may also contact their child’s building if they would like a paper copy.
