2026 Kindergarten Startup Plan

We are so excited to welcome our new kindergarten students in fall 2026! As we have done for the past several years, you will NOT know which teacher your child has before the year starts. You will get to meet all three kindergarten teachers at our open house & we will determine class lists after kindergarten startup week. This will give us the opportunity to get to know our students´ skills & abilities and who they work best with. We want to give our students the very best start and set them up for a successful kindergarten experience! 

The schedule below details when your child is expected to be at school during kindergarten startup week.

• Tuesday, August 18: ALL KINDERGARTENERS. Students will participate in activity stations from 9am -2pm. Parents will drop students off at 9am and pick them up at 2pm. Parents do not stay for these activities. 

• Wednesday, August 19 and Thursday, August 20: Students and parents attend their scheduled KRA testing session. You will receive a call to schedule this appointment. Students will only be at school for their scheduled time.

  • 😀After all testing is complete, your child's teacher will call you to let you know he/she is in their class!

• Friday, August 21: Stagger start--Students with last name beginning with A-M will attend regular school hours. 

• Monday, August 24: Stagger start--Students with last name beginning with N-Z will attend regular school hours. 

• Tuesday, August 25: ALL KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS attend.
