Welcome Back, Rocket Families!

As we continue planning for another exciting school year, I want to extend a heartfelt welcome to our students, families, staff, and community. Whether you are returning to Ridgedale or joining us for the first time, we are excited to have you as part of our Rocket family. ​

Over the summer, our staff has been hard at work preparing our classrooms, enhancing our facilities, and planning meaningful learning experiences for every student. From maintenance and safety improvements to curriculum planning and professional learning, every effort has been made to ensure we are ready for a successful year.
This year brings exciting opportunities for our students. We continue to expand our commitment to preparing every graduate for life after high school through strong academic programming, Career Technical Education pathways, College Credit Plus opportunities, industry-recognized credentials, and real-world learning experiences. Our goal remains the same: every student will graduate prepared for college, a career, military service, or whatever path they choose.

As you prepare for the first week of school, please remember to:

• Review bus schedules. Click HERE for routes.
• Check FinalForms to ensure all student information is current and filled out.
• Check school supplies. Click HERE for PK-8th grade supply lists. 
• Breakfast continues to be FREE for all students! Student lunch prices have not been increased. Please take a moment to fill out the free and reduced application, which can be found HERE.
• Watch our website, social media pages, and ParentSquare for important announcements and updates.
• Reach out to your child's school office if you have any questions before the first day.
• Mark your calendar for 6th Grade Orientation on Thursday, August 13, at 6pm; Pk-12 Open House on Monday, August 17, from 4-6pm; and the first day of school on Tuesday, August 18. 

Throughout the year, this weekly update will highlight student achievements, upcoming events, district news, and opportunities to celebrate the great things happening across Ridgedale.

Our success is built on strong partnerships between our schools, families, and community. Thank you for the trust you place in us each day. Together, we will continue to create opportunities that inspire learning, foster belonging, and prepare every Rocket for a bright future.
