Ridgedale High School Parents:
Ridgedale High School will be administering the State End of Course Exams this spring to the students in the classes listed below, according to the following schedule.
English II (Includes CP English II) Tuesday, April 13, 2021 Primarily Sophomores
Algebra I (Includes CP Algebra I) Thursday, April 15, 2021 Primarily Freshmen
American History Tuesday, April 20, 2021 Primarily Sophomores
Biology Thursday, April 22, 2021 Primarily Freshmen
Government (Includes CP Government) Friday, April 23, 2021 Primarily Juniors
Geometry (Includes CP Geometry) Tuesday, April 27, 2021 Primarily Sophomores
Each test consists of two parts. On test day, the following schedule will be used. Please note, students will NOT be attending any regular classes on days when they are testing and teachers have been instructed that no assignments are to be given for testing students on these days. When testing is completed (approximately 2:00 pm), students will be permitted to leave for the day or go to Study Hall for the rest of the day. The school will not be providing transportation for students whose parents choose for them to leave after testing is completed. There will be a normal school day for all students who are not testing on any given day.
8:00 – 9:00 Group Review Sessions – Conducted by Specific Department Teachers
9:00 – 11:00 Testing – Part 1 (Students will test in groups to allow for Social Distancing)
11:00 – 11:30 Lunch
11:30 – 12:00 Time for Students to Review Individually and / or Relax (Same Groups as Part 1)
12:00 – 2:00 Testing – Part 2 (Same Groups as Part 1)
This schedule has been developed to allow students to focus on their specific test without distractions. The schedule also spreads out the testing so most students will only be taking one (at most two) tests in any given week.
Mr. Sparling will schedule any make up tests for students absent on test day. Please feel free to contact the school with any questions and/or concerns you have about state testing or any other school related matter.
